Blueberry Smoothie with a Twist of Almonds

Finally I got the time to post the recipe of one of my absolute favorite smoothies. I love smoothies and could drink them all year around. If you follow me on instagram @mytastytravel you can see that on my instastory I almost everyday start my day with this super delicious & satiating Blueberry Almond Smoothie. The refreshing taste of blueberries with a twist of almonds totally work the magic in the smoothie.

I love the natural sweetness of both the blueberries and banana and the creamy consistence of the smoothie from the nut butter. Topping the smoothie with a good portion of Whipped Coconut Cream brings the whole smoothie experience to another level of enjoyment and is totally addictive ;).

So I can only recommend you to get into your kitchen take your smoothie blender and mix yourself a glass of blueberry smoothie with a twist of almonds and let the smoothie work its magic in your day.

Blueberry Smoothie with a Twist of Almonds

Inspired by Elfenkindberlin

Ingredients:

serves 1 big glass

100g frozen blueberries
1 ripe banana
1 tbsp almond or chashewbutter (optional)
200 – 250ml almond milk

Directions:

Blend all together until smoothie!

Topping options: You can top your smoothie with one of my absolute favorites toppings Whipped Coconut Cream, coconut shreds, small chocolate nibs or chocolate or cinnamon powder.
